2005 Festival Info
The Nottingham Live Music Festival in 2005 was a series of four one-day music and arts events
aiming to deliver a fresh approach to festivals in the inner city with the goals
of strengthening community pride and opening new doors for musicians and artists
to show their work in the local community. We showcased some of the community's
most creative local bands, artists, storytellers and performing artists. Each day had a different line up of local bands to suit many tastes

for details. We also decorated the Arboretum with butterflies created by children from the schools involved
in our Awareness Project of which you can find more about on our
projects page.
Supporters
The Nottingham Live Music Festival has been set up by a group of local people as
a creative platform for the local arts and music scene, providing an opportunity
for the community to come together and see what a vibrant array of artistic talent
there is existing within their own communities. We have many supporters of our events
and our thanks go out to each and every one of them, to find out who they are please

Location
You will find these fantastic events happening in the glorious summer setting of
the Arboretum Park right here in the centre of Nottingham and everyone from far
and wide is welcome to attend what will certainly be a day of fun!! (Weather permitting)
Below you will find some contact E-mail addresses, directions on how to reach the
Arboretum Park using public transport and a handy map showing just where we are.
The Arboretum Park is now served by the New Nottingham Tram system thus providing
an environmentally sound mode of transport to our festival. You can catch the tram
from the centre of Nottingham in Market square and from as far out as Bulwell and
Hucknall.

If you are traveling to Nottingham by train then you can catch the new Nottingham
Tram from the train station to right outside the Arboretum Park. Board the Tram
at Station Street and get off at the Nottingham High School stop.
If you are driving by car to the festival please consult the map below to find the
